You are the ONLY You

Do you believe that you are the only one who can worship Adonai the way He wants you to? Well, you are the ONLY one who can be you! No one can worship God the way you can — so WORSHIP Him! Paul said this in Ephesians 3:8, “Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ…” Paul realized that he was the only one who could do what Paul could do because he was given the grace to do it. You have been given the grace to do only what you can do. I encourage you to DO IT! Be empowered as you do YOU!

  1. This is a tough sell; but it is the truth. We are unique individuals; we are not one-size-fits-all.

    • And the thought should bring us excitement that the God of the universe has so wired me to be the only one who can worship Him as only I can worship Him! AMAZING!

  2. I have been trying my whole life to fit into the mold others have told me was correct for me. I am finally getting it into my head that I don’t have to fit into the ideal of others… approval addiction is a horrible thing. It’s like David and Saul, I can only be me, do me…no one else.

  3. Mrs. T,
We have all been guilty of trying to fit a mold! I am not talking anarchy or not doing things decently and in order! I’m talking about knowing who you are and start living LARGE in the Kingdom! “Approval Addiction” — we have been so guilty of it! Father, you approve us!

  4. I think this is so relevant in today’s world because people need to realize their value as an individual. In a sense many people are so focused on media images and living up to the expectations that they feel society has placed on them, that they are no longer open or comfortable being themselves. Instead they try and fit into the mold that society has created, and lose focus of who they are in the process. I feel it is important for us to embrace our differences and celebrate the things that make us who we are, the gifts He has given us. “Approval Addiction” can be a horrible thing, so I constantly remind myself that I have already met His approval!
