IMG_feastOur God is so amazing! He selected appointed times (moedim) when He would meet with His people. SUKKOT (The Feast of Tabernacles) is one of those times. MISSIONS STATEMENT:
Inspiring  people to live Yeshua-centered lives by carrying out the Kingdom mandates to Love, Pray, Study, Evangelize, and Disciple through Hebraic-Roots teaching

VISION:

  • Walking in Kingdom power and authority (Luke 10:9, 19)
  • Living by Kingdom principles (Matthew 5-8)
  • Worshipping together Yeshua HaMashiach (the King of the Kingdom) in the unity of the Spirit (Ruach). (Ephesians 4)
  • Celebrating the Appointed Feasts (Moedim) of the Lord (Leviticus 23)

CORE VALUES:
We are committed to Jewish roots teaching, the enlightenment of the local church, the importance of Israel in the plan of God, and the salvation of unsaved Jewish & non-Jewish people.

We are committed to ministering, not only to the spiritual needs of those whom we serve, but also to their physical, mental, and emotional needs.

We are committed to developing relationships with local churches and synagogues as a response to Yeshua’s prayer in John 17 that we are to be one (echad).

We are committed to being a Spirit-filled and Spirit-led congregation operating in the gifts of the Spirit and producing the fruit of the Spirit.

We exhort our congregation to identify and exercise their specific God-directed role of praying for and funding missionaries, especially those who serve in the 1040 Window.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:

  • We believe that salvation has always been “by grace through faith,” in the atoning work of Yeshua and that works of law, or righteous acts, have never saved anyone (Gen. 15:6; Rom. 2-6; Eph. 2:8-9; Heb. 11:6, 39).
  • We recognize that Jewish people (physical descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob, whether through the mother’s or the father’s blood-line) who place their faith in Yeshua as Israel’s Messiah have not disowned or separated themselves from their race and their Judaic heritage, but remain sons and daughters of Israel (Romans 2:28-29).
  • Gentiles who place their faith in Yeshua, are “grafted into” the Jewish olive tree of faith (Rom. 11:17-25) becoming spiritual sons and daughters of Abraham (Gal. 3:28-29).
  • We observe and celebrate the LORD’s Feast Days (Moeday Adonai) given by God to Israel, with their fulfillment in and through Messiah Yeshua.
  • We believe that true “Biblical Judaism,” especially the faith of first century believers, which we seek to practice, acknowledges the continuity of faith in the one true God, revealed throughout the Scriptures, and ultimately manifested in God’s Son, Yeshua the Messiah.
  • We acknowledge that the New Covenant body of believers is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have received Yeshua the Messiah as the Promised Redeemer. The “middle wall of partition” has been broken down, eradicated by Yeshua Ha Mashiach, and now we worship the God of Israel together (I Cor. 12:13; Eph. 2:13-14)
  • We believe that once unsaved Jews are connected to their Jewish Messiah Yeshua and once Gentiles believers embrace the Jewish roots of their faith, then the Body of Messiah will walk in the full power and authority given to it by Yeshua. (Romans 9-11)
  • We believe in the importance of land of Israel to the heart and plan of God and continually pray for the peace of Jerusalem. (Psalm 122:6)

King David: Carrier of Another Reality

King David often gets a bad rap! Although it was Isaiah who said, “Woe is me. I am undone” and Paul who said “I am the chief of sinners,” certainly David could have uttered those same words and every student of David’s life would have understood. Yet he does cry, “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me” (Isaiah 51:5).

It wasn’t until recently that I began to understand David’s plight. As believers, we are “carriers of the eternal” and “stewards of another reality” because we carry the glory of God! David’s plight was a little different, for He was literally carrying the seed of Messiah in his loins. Messiah Yeshua would come forth through his lineage. Not only was he carrying the Messiah, but the Messiah would be called the “Son of David.”

NO WONDER THE ENEMY POUNDED HIM SO BADLY. HERE ARE A FEW EXAMPLES:

  • He was overlooked by his father (I Samuel 16:11);
  • Bullied by his oldest brother (I Samuel 17:28);
  • Betrayed by King Saul whom he loved and ministered to (I Samuel 17:1-19);
  • Given the King’s David Michal only to ensnare him (I Samuel 18:20-27)
  • King Saul with all of his army sought to kill him (I Samuel 19:1; 19:9-10; 23:7);
  • David had to act insane so that He is not killed by the King of Gath (I Samuel 21:12-15);
  • He lived in caves and desert strongholds, running for his life (1 Samuel 22:1; 23:14);
  • He took refuge in foreign countries (I Samuel 27:7).
  • Even when David had the opportunity to kill King Saul, he does not (I Samuel 24).
  • He is betrayed by his son Absalom who not only sought to take his Kingdom, but to kill him as well (2 Samuel 15).
  • His practically sentences Uriah to death so he can have Uriah’s wife Bathsheba (2 Samuel 11);

All of this and so much more occurred in David’s life. Why? Because He was the CARRIER OF ANOTHER REALITY! In His loins he stewarded THE KINGDOM OF GOD! The enemy pulled every stop to discredit him, malign his witness, and destroy his life. But what ultimately mattered was God’s estimation of David and the man God had called him to be:

“He raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.’ (Acts 13:22)

David paid a high price to be the CARRIER OF THE ETERNAL. So when the enemy starts pounding you, know that you carry another reality inside the Temple that is your body and God says you’re victorious AND an overcomer! God bless you, Steward of another reality!
