Pastors David & Juanita Weiss and the Kingdom Life Messianic Congregation invites you to A Celebration of Biblical Pentecost (Shavuot) 2016 with us. This is the time when the God of Israel gave the Torah to His people on Mt. Sinai and when He sent the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) to the awaiting 120 disciples in the Upper Room!
As the church normally counts 50 days after Resurrection Sunday as its Pentecost, the Torah’s commandment is that we should count 50 days after Passover. Therefore, Biblical Pentecost 2016 would fall on June 11-12.
We will be synchronizing our Celebration of Pentecost with Messianic Congregations in Israel who will be celebrating June 11 – 12, 10pm – 6am (Israeli Time) as we celebrate Saturday, June 11, 3pm to 11pm (EST) at the same time.
There will be prayers, worship, brief teachings on the Biblical Shavuot, dancing, shofar blasts, and unity in the Spirit.
We encourage you to connect with the Jewish roots of your Christian faith and embrace Yeshua’s way. Would you join us?
