In a sense many people are so focused on media images and living up to the expectations that they feel society has placed on them, that they are no longer open or comfortable being themselves. Instead they try and fit into the mold that society has created, and lose focus of who they are in the process. I feel it is important for us to embrace our differences and celebrate the things that make us who we are, the gifts He has given us. “Approval Addiction” can be a horrible thing, so I constantly remind myself that I have already met His approval!
